With nearly 30 years experience as a professional writer, Pamela Woolford writes screenplays, short fiction, and creative nonfiction, including memoir, profiles, and literary journalism. She is a Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award winner in screenwriting, a recipient of a Maryland House of Delegates Official Citation for journalism, a three-time Maryland State Arts Council Creativity Grant winner, a Baker Artist Award winner, a Changemaker Challenge Award winner for storytelling, and a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee. She has been shortlisted for the Fish Publishing Short Memoir Prize, a Tucson Festival of Books Literary Awards finalist, and a Rick DeMarinis Short Fiction Contest semifinalist at Cutthroat, A Journal of the Arts.
